« PUMPKIN PORN | Main | DENSITY | The Real Victory of Ann Arbor Over Lansing »

Can you believe it's been a year? In late 2010 your truly set out to learn a bit about the tastes and preferences of Ann Arbor's dining public. That research became one of the leading forces instigating A2GastroBoy. By January I was a bonafide blogger and posting the results for what I'm sure will grow to become as popular as the Oscars, the Annual A2GastroBoy Restaurant Survey (check out the 2010 results  here).

Our first survey had 92 qualified respondents; statistically valid, but not a lot. My goal for this year is to double that number. Wanna help? Click on the link below and then e-mail it to five of your friends. I'll post the results in January.  Thanks for your help and Enjoy!

Intending to prevent those of us who spend $18/person from completing the survey?

Dear Anonymous, since your comment lacks audible cues for nuance and tone, I'll let you choose your response from the options below:

1) POLITE RESPONSE: Thanks for pointing out the gap in fugues. I was aware of the issue and for sake of consistency in respondent stimuli I've decided to leave the answers as originally posted. Sorry to confuse. I appreciate your stewardship.

2) SNARKY RESPONSE: You did it - your clever eye masterfully unearthed an entirely pointless fact - and rather than accepting it as the inconsequential gap that it is, you proudly reported it. You get a gold star today. Now answer me this douche bag, what imperial evidence do you have confirming your average ticket is $18, and not say, 17.55?

PLEASE NOTE: The views expressed in this publication do not necessarily reflect the views of the A2GastroBoy or their sponsors. Consume media at your own risk and wait thirty minutes before swimming.

Sorry if I came off all smartass-y, GBoy. Maybe I'm misremembering, but I thought I'd seen somewhere that you were adding in restaurants (or maybe that was last year or some other a2 restaurant survey, I don't know), so I thought you were open to changing parameters, and I couldn't tell from your first response what you were aware of/was intentional/etc. I didn't consider it inconsequential or pointless since you use terms like 'statistically valid' and seem to spend a fair amount of time on this.

Zwap: no harm, no foul. You caught me on a particularly snarky day. Be well.
